And I woke up to one of those days when everything in me wants to stay inside by the fire, preferably with a huge mug of hot chocolate.
But it’s also exactly the kind of day that’s worth going outside for.
The rain leaves a shiny layer on everything. The whole world looks freshly painted. And when the rain finally stops, there’s that smell. Wet soil and rainwater, mixed together. The dust has been washed away, and the air is so fresh you breathe deeper without even thinking about it.
And when I come back inside, with wet hair and cold fingers, I appreciate being dry and warm in a completely different way.
My couch. My blanket. A head that’s finally had some fresh air.
That’s the feeling I want you to experience. Every day.
15 Days Outside starts Monday.
Every day, I’ll send all my subscribers a tiny quest by email. One reason to get your ass outside. Even when the weather gives you a dozen reasons to stay on the couch.
No long hikes. No special gear. Just a little time outside.
It’s free. But it will cost you a little of your time every day. And you’ll have to let me take up a little space in your inbox.
Bring your raincoat.
Hit the button below if you’re in.
You don’t have to love the rain. You just have to open the damn door.
