Yesterday, my head was aching, I felt drained, and I would much rather have stayed inside. But I had given myself the same task I gave you.
Go outside and notice a tree.
So I did.
And I discovered this ridiculously beautiful aspen tree at my neighbor’s garden. I’ve lived here for 19 years, walked past that tree God knows how many times, and never really noticed how pretty it is.
The hardest part was getting myself out the door.
Having one small, specific task made it easier. I didn’t have to figure out where to go or what to do. I just had to get outside and find a tree.
What’s stopping you?
And I’d really love it if you’d hit reply with a line or two about why you joined 15 Days Outside.
Day 2: Take your coffee out
